Safecleanse Alcohol Gel was developed to contain both alcohol AND lipids – so the beneficial effects of alcohol are combined with very effective skin moisturizing lipids and silicones to leave the skin feeling soft and moisturized without stickiness or oiliness, as well as being effectively sanitized with high levels of alcohol. Conventional emulsions are not able to incorporate these levels of alcohol with lipids and remain stable.
Good after- and in-use feel of the product is vital for compliance with the need to use the product frequently during the course of the working day when handling livestock and in hospitals and the like.
The use of the PA Dispersion technology as the basis of Safecleanse Alcohol Gel will significantly increase the tolerance to alcohol-based, skin sanitizing products by users and will therefore improve compliance with effective hygiene and protection regimes. PAD does this by providing moisturizing oils along side the biocidal actives. Alcohol, at the level contained in Safecleanse Alcohol Gel, is extremely effective against pathogenic organisms such as MRSA and H5N1 bird flu viruses, and in addition, the presence of triclosan has a bacteriostatic effect to prevent re-infection between applications of the product.
Alcohol at biocidal levels (60% or greater) cannot be contained within conventional emulsions.
BLFs are more receptive to use because of a lack of greasiness or stickiness associated with the absence of the “waxy” and “greasy” materials. more >>>>
